We wanted two bedrooms on this side, so we flipped the former laundry room on the rental side into a guest bedroom, giving us an L-shaped floorplan as opposed to a straight shotgun. It’s cozy in size, but it fits a queen bed, wardrobe and nightstands and it achieves one big renovation goal.
