When we completed extensive renovations to the owner’s side, we took two rooms from the back off the rental side. This gave us more space and private bedrooms on the owner’s side and left us a decent sized one-bedroom apartment to rent out.
Front room: The was and is the living room.
Kitchen: This was a second sitting room / historically probably used as a second bedroom that we changed into the kitchen.
Bathroom: This was and is the bathroom. We fixed the floor and added tile for water protection in the first round of reno. But it was never complete until now.
Bedroom: We had an adventure of removing 5+ layers of floor from this room. In this Reno go-round, we closed off the door at the back of the bedroom, re-painted and added a built-in closet.
