434-Front-Room-MashupCh-ch-changes…. the carpenters prettied this room up by repairing another heating grate in the floor, re-finishing the floors and by painting. You can see our test paint swatches in photo 2 — we considered:

  1. White Dove by Benjamin Moore
  2. Collingwood by Benjamin Moore
  3. Pale Oak by Benjamin Moore

We decided the White Dove was definitely too light, leaving Pale Oak, which is raved about by so many home bloggers and interior designers, and Collingwood. We ultimately decided Pale Oak was too much on the brown/beige spectrum, especially given the lighting in our front room. Collingwood it is! We were a little worried it would be too dark once the whole room was painted, but we love it!

We continue to change the aesthetic of this room — first by switching out the rug for a Schoolhouse Electric rug, and then by switching out the pillows and artwork.
